ROChester Elite Cheer is a competitive recreation cheer program for boys and girls ages 7 to 18. This recreation cheer program is open to all cheerleaders in the Rochester and Monroe County area. This program is great for the cheerleader who would like to continue cheering after their youth season ends or in addition to the JV/Varsity season.
This new elite cheer team will have evaluations in November
where cheerleaders will be placed on a team based on age and skill level. Practices
start in December and run through early May with a chance to compete at US
Finals. Recreation cheer allows cheerleaders to compete in an all-star
environment against other recreation teams. ROChester Elite Cheer is the place
to be!
How long is the season?
- Practices begin December 1 and run through early May.
When will practices be?
- Twice a week. One weekday 6:30pm to 8pm and Sunday morning at 9 am to 10:30am or 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
How many practices can be missed?
- Maximum of 5 unexcused practices can be missed.
school events take place and require an athlete to be absent. An absent form is required to be completed by January 1st. Any missed
practices that are not requested by January 1st will be unexcused.
How many competitions will each team attend?
- 3 NYS competitions in March and April with the potential to
travel to Rhode Island for US Finals bid dependent.
Note: A bid for US Finals may be an additional cost of around $100 per athlete, in addition to the monthly payments.
How many teams will you have?
- Number of teams is determined by number of registrations and evaluations. Evaluations will take place in mid November. After that you will be notified of your team placement and you will need to secure your athletes spot within 1 week with initial payment.
